Banana Nut Muffins

1 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1 1/4 c Bananas, mashed
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Brown sugar
1/3 c Vegetable oil
1/4 c Milk
1 lg Egg
1 c Nuts, chopped and toasted


Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease twelve muffin cups or line with paper cups. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg into a large bowl. Combine the bananas, sugars, oil, milk and egg in a medium bowl. Mix into the dry ingredients. Fold in the nuts. Divide batter among prepared muffin cups. Bake until muffins are golden brown, about 25 minutes. Transfer muffins to rack and cool.
