Corn-nutmeg Miniature Muffins

1 c Yellow cornmeal
1 c Flour
1 1/2 t Ground nutmeg
1/4 c Sugar
4 t Baking powder
1/2 t Salt
1 Egg, beaten
1 c Milk
1/4 c Salad oil

Combine cornmeal, flour nutmeg, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and oil; beat about 1 minute or until smooth. Fill lightly greased miniature muffin pans 3/4 full. Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan while warm.
