Anderson Bran Muffins

2 c Bran (natural)
2 c Boiling water
1 lb Margarine
4 Eggs
2 c Brown sugar
4 c All bran cereal
1 qt Buttermilk
5 c Flour
1 t Salt
5 t Baking soda
Raisins


Soak the 2 cups natural bran in the boiling water in a bowl. Set aside to cool. Cream the margarine, eggs, and brown sugar together. Add the buttermilk and mix. Add the rest of the dry ingredients. Add the soaked bran and mix thoroughly. Bake in muffins tins, or papers, in a 350F oven for about 15-20 minutes. Makes about 5-1/2 dozen.
