Carrot Bran Muffins

1 1/2 c Flour
2 Eggs
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
2/3 c Dark brown sugar; packed
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Vegetable oil
1 ts Cinnamon
1 1/2 c Finely grated carrots
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Buttermilk
1 1/4 c Bran
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Currants
