Wisconsin Cheese Muffin

2 c Flour
4 ts Baking powder
1 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Garlic powder
1 c Milk or 1 cup beer
1 Egg; beaten
1/4 c Oil
2 c Wisconsin cheddar cheese; shredded

Mix the dry stuff and the wet stuff in different bowls, then mix together along with the cheese. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees (f). When done let them sit for 5 minutes before taking them out of the pan.
