Peurto Rican Corn Muffins

2 c Cornmeal
1/2 c Whole wheat pastry flour
1 t Baking powder
1/2 t Baking soda
1/2 t Frsh black pepper
1 c Grated cheddar cheese
2 Eggs beaten
1 tb Honey
1 tb Oil
2 c Buttermilk

Mix all dry ingredients together. blend in the cheese. In another bowl whisk the wet ingredients together. Make a well in the drys and quickly stir in the liquids. Spoon into greased muffin cups. Bake 375 20 to 25 minutes or tested done.
