Corn Muffins

1 1/2 c Granulated sugar
2 tb Baking powder
3 1/2 c Flour
1 c Cornmeal
4 Eggs
1 1/2 c Milk
1/3 c Vegetable oil


Combine sugar, baking powder, flour, cornmeal, eggs, and 1 cup of milk until well blended. Add remaining 1/2 cup of milk and the oil. Mix for 3 minutes. Place in well greased muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees (F) for about 20 minutes (until golden). Makes 30 muffins.
