Birdseed Muffins

1 c Flour
1 c Wholemeal flour
1/4 c Sesame seeds
1 tb Poppy seeds
1/4 c Sunflower seeds
1/2 c Pumpkin seeds
2 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Honey
1 tb Golden syrup
1/2 ts Cloves
2 Beaten eggs
1 c Low-fat milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, prepare pans. Melt the butter with the honey, golden syrup & cloves until the mixture dissolves; set aside to cool. Mix the flours, seeds & baking powder together. Add the dry mix to the wet mix until just combined. Spoon into pans & bake for 20 mins. Sprinkle tops with sesame or poppy seeds if desired. This is a super-healthy muffin. Makes 12.
