Bran Muffins

60 g Margarine
1 ts Sucaryl
1 Egg
1 ts Bicarbonate of Soda
1 c Bran flakes
3/4 c Flour
pn Salt
pn Grated nutmeg
60 g Currants


Cream margarine and sweetener. Add egg. Heat milk and dissolve soda in this and add to creamed mixture. Fold in sifted dry ingredients and fruit. Spoon into 12 greased patty tins. Bake at 200deg C for approx. 15 mins.
