Bran Muffins

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. Kellogg's Bran Flakes
1 1/4 c. milk (skim, if you want)
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil


Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside. Measure Bran Flakes and milk into mixing bowl. Let stand 2 minutes. Add egg and oil. Beat well. Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined. Pour into greased muffin pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
