Oatmeal Muffins

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. salad oil

Sift cup sifted all-purpose flour with sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add quick cooking rolled oats. Add slightly beaten egg, milk, and salad oil, stirring just to moisten. Fill 12 greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees about 15 minutes. Makes 12.
